…I began to assess the greater needs of the people living in or near downtown Kitchener.  We discovered that there is a high number of homeless people and residents who could not afford good quality food… With the help of Bishop Crosby from the Diocese of Hamilton we were able to install a commercial kitchen in our parish hall and realized the safest way to meet the need for quality food was to offer takeout. Thanks to daily donations and major contributions from organizations like theCatholic Community Foundation of Waterloo Region we were able to afford high quality ingredients for nutritious meals… And whenever people ask how much it costs, our response is always "grab a bite, give if you can. We're just glad you came!"
